Publishing & Monetization

Once your app is developed and tested, you can decide how to distribute and monetize it. SitePack offers flexible options for both private usage and public listing in the marketplace.

Public vs. Private Apps

When you publish an app through the SitePack Partner Dashboard, you can choose its visibility:

  • Private Apps: These are intended for use on a specific store or by a specific organization. They are not visible in the public marketplace. This is ideal for custom-built solutions for a single client or internal company tools.
  • Public Apps: These are listed in the SitePack App Marketplace. Any SitePack merchant can discover, install, and use your app.

Selling Your App

SitePack provides built-in monetization tools, allowing you to earn revenue from your app. You can configure several pricing models (please note that all revenue streams and pricing plans are Euro-based):

1. Free Apps

Offering a free app is a great way to build your brand and attract users to your other services or premium versions. Free apps are available to all merchants without any charge.

2. One-Time Payment

You can set a fixed price for your app. Merchants pay once to license the app for their store. This is a common model for specialized tools or utility apps.

3. Subscription Plans (Recurring Revenue)

For ongoing services and updates, you can offer your app on a subscription basis. SitePack handles the recurring billing for you:

  • Monthly: A set fee charged every month.
  • Yearly: A discounted or standard fee charged once per year.

Marketplace Fees & Payouts

When you sell an app on the SitePack Marketplace, SitePack handles the transaction, licensing, and delivery. Detailed information about the fee structure and how to request payouts can be found in your Partner Dashboard.
